"If you like the romance movies of the 1980s, you will love our production of "A Midsummer Night's Dream." It's 1988, the time when big hair, all denim outfits, and New Kids on the Block were everything to the typical teenager. This funny, magical tale is centered around the coming marriage of Theseus and Hippolyta. A play has been commissioned for the celebration day by the locals but their rehearsal is interrupted by a band of mischievous, vengeful fairies. Couples escape into the woods hoping to live out their lives happily ever after or find their lost loves. Hilarious moments of misused magic leads to true love conquering all. "
